I think a few more people will identify Linus Tovalds as the leader
of the "Open Source" movement than will confuse North with South, but

In my opinion, this is the same mistake my beloved friend Richard Stallman makes. Both
think that they can correct the publics thinking on a key terminology by correcting
individuals one person at a time.
The one thing Richard does extremely well though is it develop a message and to stick with it
until it catches on with the press and the public.
In any event, in terms of Marketing,
I'd rather be as "Free as a Bird" that as "Open as a Prostitute" :)
And that is my last sentence on this topic for now.
