That article attacks a straw man which is a composite of various
criticisms he has heard, which range from valid to absurd. It then
presents a false choice between that straw man and agreeing with Linus
Torvalds.
Amusingly, it also says
What is the spirit of open source? It is the GNU General Public License.
What a peculiar combination of ideas this is.
