Quoting Matt Thrailkill (matt-at-modestolan.com):

I did _not_ say that.
I really should not have to waste my time advising you about what I did _not_ say -- especially since I've already addressed this point.
What I said -- to repeat myself, which I do not intend to do again -- was that it was damned peculiar that you chose a person who has no discernible connection with OSI as exemplifying the views of "open source persons", when a couple of dozen well-known persons of longstanding were available who _are_ associated formally with OSI.
Add that to the fact that the cited quotation didn't even support your assertion anyway, and one is lead to suspect that you were straining wildly because you had no real ability to support your point at all.
That is exactly what I said earlier today. It is very vexing to have to say it twice, for no better reason than your being either willfully dense or straining to find something to argue with, or both.
If you honestly are having such extreme difficulty correctly understanding my posts that you're driven to positing blatantly silly interpretations of them, I suggest you quit.
> This is getting back to the footsie you mentioned originally, isn't it?
You went there. That really wasn't very smart. Pray do not try it again.
