I had the main server off or frozen for some reason 2 days ago. RMS is here so I thought he might have touched it (or maybe no), or perhaps a power problem. It wouldn't restart until I completely disconnected the power.
But today, when I logged onto the server I got a warning of a man in the middle attach, which I think is weird. I did a YAST upgrade as long as I was at it, but I haven't seen any security warnings for SSH of late. Has anyone seen anything? Does it regenerate the public host keys regularly?
Something else is confusing me. What purpose does the rsa keys server in /etc/ssh ? I can't seem get ssh to take those keys instead of the $HOME/.ssh keys.
