NYLUG's been pretty much dropped in my lap now, so I can thoroughly
sympathize.
I think people often take these groups for granted, and it's important
for people to understand, that despite how it may seem, *nothing* is
just magically happening. Someone busts their butt to make things
happen, and often it's one or two people holding things up for hundreds.
If you don't want NYLXS to fade away, this would be a good time to step
up, and volunteer your services. Many groups die off when those one or
two people reach their limits. Don't let it happen to yours.
