Description: The selected candidate will administer and manage
Linux/UNIX Servers with some Java code development as well as perform
installations, upgrades, capacity planning, Shell scripting, kernel
tuning, backups, and recoveries.
Candidates must have 5 or more years of experience working in UNIX
systems administration; performing administration, design, analysis, and
implementation with solid understanding of TCP/IP networking. Candidates
must be able to perform in-depth network configuration and
troubleshooting. 1-2 or more years of Java development are required.
Candidates must have expert knowledge and experience working with
emergency intervention on Linux/Intel-based systems. Experience with
shared storage systems (EMC, SUN arrays, or similar
technologies-NAS/SAN) and clustering technologies is a plus. Excellent
written and oral communication skills are required.
