Resolved that Michael Richardson to resume active journal editorship. J.E. Cripps to write an article on the Hera (sp?) project.
Discussion of prevalent unawareness of the existence and need for standards in IT. No specific article assignment resulted from this.
Resolved: A workshop (informal class on Assembler language) to be held at Mr. Siegal's residence.] (130 Union Street in Brooklyn)
Michael Richardson and J.E. Cripps to inquire into rental costs of Manhattan locations. Reported the General Society Library in Manhattan is too expensive.
Resolved that we clarify our IRS 501(c) status, and re-apply if necessary.
Peter Siegal is to research the GPL 3 issue and write an article for the journal. Discussion of this and related issues.
Resolved that present members contact Dave Spira et. al. and that the fund raising efforts be resumed on a more active basis. Discussed requiring all to attend the Foundation Center class for non-profits.
Membership dues are to be paid.
Discussion of fund-raising projects. No resolutions.
Discussion of social night. Present preference is for a local cruise, some time after Passover.
