This is could be a good idea, if it could be profitable to the electronic manufactures. Back in the day, people were trying to get old electronic devices, because they had gold in them and they were able to extract the gold. In Eatontown, NJ there is an electronic store that would take old electronic and strip the parts for resale. Reusing the parts might be the key to this idea.
Companies are trying to get back old cell phone and there are non- profit groups that will collect your old car as a donation (the donation is a tax write off)
