While I still use Suse on some PCs/Servers, I do like and run Mepis (debian based) and Slackware 10.1.

I was using Suse 9.2 a while back when I read a review for Ubuntu. Since then I've switched all of my machines to ubuntu. 1. It's a nice package right out of the box, 2. based on debian, which I love for installing, 3. has good support of hardware, especially on laptops. 4. Easy to use and to get accustomed to. 5. Easy to get help on freenode.net #ubuntu 6. Not so simplified that it seems childish.
