Well, it is May, but I think I have the notes for the last board
meeting. Sorry this is late but passover will do that to your schedule.

Freedom-IT -
Domain needs to be reupped. Tim Wilcox has allowed it to pass into
public domain and we need to resign it up.
Possible locations have been acquired thanks to a member in Midtown and
Downtown.
Judging Parameters for Freedom-IT scholarship has been set at the
Freedom-IT meeting. See previous email for details.
Paul is to write a letter by 4/30/05 for delivery to the HS's by 5/7/05
Fund Raising:
Acquired a list of names which is a private resource help by Dave Spira
and Michael George for grants. Approximately 12 dozen targets have been
acquired.
We decided on two kids of funding requests.
We are to establish a fund raising goal this month (see budget)
We are to establish a fund raising web page.
Paper Work: Transfered from Mike. Signature Cards, Tax IDs. New
Accountant needed.
Budget:
FSI: Expenses (space 3,600 , marketing 2,000, instructors 2,000)
Income target 6 classes 15 students and $600 per 2 class
semester) $7200
Summer GNU/Linux 1 and Programming 1
Networking: $3600 for the year
Freedom-IT - $5000
Publication of GNU/Linux 1 -$3000
Work Book Development for GNU/Linux 1 - $500
Teachers Workshop - $4000
In Service Educational Series: $6000
Fund Raising Goal: $25,000 for the Year
The Next NYLXS Board Meeting will be announced this week and the NYLXS
Leadership Program will be likewise announced later in this week.
