analyst for the Dept. of Commerce, then she knows she's prepared a
deliberately misleading report that opens with a scandalous chart about
non-generic drugs and then goes on to complain about the cost of the
generics.
The cost of the non-generics, which is what she's trying to enrage
people with has little to nothing to do with the cost of the active
ingredient itself, and everything to do with the cost of discovering/
creating the drug, testing it, and accounting for potential liability.
I have little doubt we're being ripped off, but this piece is garbage.
