I'm teaching 7th grade this year at PS/MS 25 on Lafayette between Tompkins and Throop. Truely a dispiriting experience, but I'm still standing.
When we were last in touch, my machine was an orange iMac (about first-and-a-half generation). My current machine is an extravagance from a brief period of prosperity: a 2.0 GHz dual G5 Power Mac with a 250G hard drive, 1G of RAM and a 20-inch cinema display.
I had joined YDL.net and downloaded the ISOs, but I needed to partition the drive. Did that, decided to get the latest ISOs, only to find that my account had expired, so the install will have to wait until payday.
And it's 64-bit! Whee!
