I am a subscriber. Pricey, but they manage to get three things right:
1. Facts. (less so than before, but still moreso than any
US news outlet)
2. Print subscription comes with free Web subscription.
3. Web edition contains *complete* print edition (and archive of
such) and NO f***ing PDFs. Just HTML and images, and it renders
correctly in your favorite Gecko-based browser. The way God
intended it to be.
Additionally, it is the only newspaper/newsmagazine I have ever read and
repeatedly seen whatever dictator suffered an expose the previous week,
having written a letter to the editor to protest the
"mischaracterization of their rule". I believe the last time was
Alberto Fujimori sometime in 2004.
