participated in the lively discussions of NYLXS 2005 Scheduled Events. Among
the many topics we expanded upon, We are looking at a very exciting 2005
Season at NYLXS.
Some of the many exciting projects we have slated for 2005 include:
Freedom-IT Expo and the NYLXS Scholarship Program for Best Original Free
Software Project Produced by a Student
NYLXS Leadership Seminars for NYLXS Members ("Leadership by Doing" and "We
Are Doers")
Seminars and Mentoring given by NYLXS Members and Others
NYLXS Journal is Back! We are expecting to see some fascinating and diverse
articles
covering Free Software et al.
Free Software is Coming to Brooklyn College (Courtesy of Steve Milo)
NYLXS Membership Drive and Installfests Galore....
NYLXS 2005 Annual Members Outing
Plans are being formulated for a Day/Night Event
FSI In-Services, FSCC Meetings etc....
Congratulations to the Newly Elected NYLXS Officers and Board Members for
2005. Be Prepared to see Great Things happening at NYLXS this year....
