SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] Video drivers on suse3.2
|
I'm trying to run suse on my media center type pc which is connected to a large-screen sony wega tv. The video card is compatible when connected to a normal monitor, but when connected to the tv the screen blanks out after when changing video modes. Both red hat and suse do this, lindows does not. But I want suse. I've got yast to come up and I can change the settings, but I'm not sure what to set it to. Here arre the current settings: Card Vidia 0x0322 (nv) Monitor VESA 800x600-at-60hz(31-38 khz/50-60 hz Resolutions 8006x600 Depth 16 bit 3d disabled Virt res not conf. AccessX enabled
As an x-windows guy I haven't learned to install drivers yet, besides, where do you get drivers for a tv?
