Don't think it will happen. One day isn't enough anyway. Everyone needs to stay home/not work about one morning a week minimum, calling their congressman (or woman) and education them about basic issues. In addition to the DMCA, Free Software, there's various voting acts, certain sequelae of 9/11, etc. etc.

Telling business people to stop work a second day after a national holiday many of them didn't want?
BTW I don't think anyone is well commemorated by a mere day off. I wonder when Washington's Birthday became a holiday and even more if he would have approved. I suspect not.
