Read the fine print very carefully. Log into your domain registrar and check for notices. Do a whois on yourself and see when your domain is coming due. If you do not know who they are there is a very high probability it is a sales solicitation. Check to make sure that is in fact your domain, spelled exactly as you spell it. Check com, net, org, us, etc. Log directly into your registrar's interface and renew if necessary.
