Ask Traveler
By Heather Morgan Shott Online Editor, National Geographic Traveler Magazine
Q: How can I avoid airport crowds the week of Thanksgiving?
A: Airports will be jam-packed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after, according to the seven major airlines I polled.
To get to grandma's house in time for Thanksgiving dinner, fly early on Thursday morning. (Or postpone the family gathering and travel Friday.)
Finally, return home on Saturday or Monday instead of Sunday.

Quiz Answer:
Polar bears don't eat penguins because polar bears prowl the Arctic, while penguins waddle way down south, in and around Antarctica.
