liberal arts college on Staten
Island, NY, is seeking a Systems
Administrator / Programmer for the
College web site. Candidates for
this position should have extensive
knowledge of Linux, Apache, PERL,
and MySQL. Experience with LDAP,
ODBC and SQL database standards, and
one or more CVS clients is also
required, as is a Bachelor¢s degree
and at least 3-5 years of
professional experience supporting
multifaceted web sites. Wagner seeks
a candidate with demonstrated skills
and experience installing,
configuring, upgrading, and general
maintenance of web servers.
Experience supporting a web site in
an educational or similarly diverse
environment is preferred, as is
experience implementing and
supporting systems for web content
management.
