We've had a lot of success (and fun!) writing scripts
and getting things to work on a multitude of servers.
I'll write it up. I have a two page (and growing) way
to set up Windows XP and Samba.
We used Redhat because it found every Dell Raid, card
etc immediately.
Suse and Mandrake needed a lot of help--on the first
machine and different help on the 2nd -- so we
stopped.
I guess Dell's support of Redhat is giving them all
the drivers.
