Summary of Role
Unix SA in charge of specific business units within TDS
Principal Responsibilities
Candidate will interact with several groups including application development, Core Engineering, Storage Management and Technical Operations. Candidate will be responsible as Primary SA for the support of servers/workstations pertaining to the business group; as well candidate must be familiar with servers/workstations that exist within the full Equities domain. Overnight and weekend support is a requirement and is done on a rotational basis.
Experience/Skills (including Technical & Interpersonal)
? Technical: SUN Solaris 2.6 and Solaris 8, Linux, NFS/NIS, SAN technology, BCP, DNS, Veritas Cluster/Volume Manager, Debugging and Troubleshooting skills
? Interpersonal: Teamwork, negotiation skills, communication skills (written and verbal), presentation skills
