SUBJECT | Re: [hangout] BIOS Virus?
|
I posted a message on their tech forum.
This machine is a handmedown, not purchased new I dont believe I qualify for tech support directly from HP.
What is very odd is there doesnt seem to be any rhym to the reason it fails. Sometimes I will get an error that says: 'there was a problem with the install' other times the install will fail part of the way (freeze up). When I rebooted to do a 'repair current install option' glibc, glibc-local, linux- util, devs will have to be repaired. Those actions fail.
See my other message for other details of other methods I tried to use to install 9.1 on this box.
