THIS is psychotic.
Rueben, I was there in D.C., I read the lists, and I ran Mandrake. This
slam on another list is as childish as it gets. Sunny, frankly, is razor
sharp, very open to alternative viewpoints, and light years ahead of many
when it come to free software, even at 19yo.
As for your BS:
He NEVER pushed people to move to Mandrake, just simply pointed out that
1)Mandrake is 100% Free Software, and 2)the irony that you, and most of
NYLXS (myself included), run SuSE, which is certainly NOT 100% Free
Software.
He NEVER requested proof of anything, and in fact had we not been locked in
a van going 70mph, I'd have bet that you would have ran off ranting
manaicly, claiming that studios give away their investment the moment they
show the film.
As for the mugger comment, Sunny is exremely tolerant, and I know this from
extended personal time with him, not just through Linux-about-town... and
I've NEVER seen him banned from the nylug list for any period of time,
unlike others.

I swear that Sunny Dubbey is the biggest nut case in the whole of New York
Free Software scene. Has anyone been following this guys ranting and
lunatic ravings on NYLUG talk.
Marco told him to grow up on the list just about 2 weeks back, and then they
seemed to have had some secret pow wow behind the scene and made nice.
Now he is pouting because people disagree with him about Free Software
desktops.
This is like a ****Classic**** Sunny Dubey manuver. He was all fired up to
work with us after the egovOS events, and then when he discovered we're not
all turning our boxes over to Mandrake and requested proof of broad
assertitions, he ranted like maniac and ran off.
The guy would burn down a city to catch a mugger.
