Rubenstein Technology Group seeks a full-time, on-site Perl Software
Developer to help develop and customize our suite of Web software products.
Potential candidates will have experience programming Web applications in
Perl Mason, and enjoy working with Open Source technologies in a
technically challenging environment. The ability to work within a small,
highly-technical team in a dynamic environment is a must. Successful
candidates will have the ability to develop clean, well-documented
object-oriented Perl code and a desire for continuous improvement. Although
we are currently seeking a Perl developer, Java development experience is a
plus.
This is a contract position that may result in an offer of full-time
employment (temp-to-perm).

Required skills:
* 3 – 5 years of professional programming experience
* Experience in developing large-scale Web applications with Perl
* Perl Mason (HTML::Mason) experience
* SQL experience (MySQL and PostgreSQL preferred)
* Experience with developing Web software on and for Linux/UNIX
* Excellent written and oral communications skills
* A team player that works hard, admits his/her strengths and weaknesses,
and has the flexibility to improve by learning new things
* Computer Science or related degree
Desired skills:
* HTML, DHTML, Javascript
* XML/XSL
* SOAP and Web Services
* Java programming experience
* Apache Tomcat and Jakarta, JBoss, WebLogic
* Knowledge of Internet, infrastructure, and networking protocols
