What would be a more "Head on" approach. Protests?
Protest are a viable option and even though this is a free country there are too many of the wrong people protesting. Nonetheless it is an effective solution when done with care and responsibility.
To paraphrase Dennis Miller: 'This is a country founded by men who blew peoples heads off when the English taxed their favorite morning beverage.' One would think that the same passion but not with the same violence would be mustered to get rid of the DMCA. Or atleast fundamentally restructure that horrendous Act.
Many people have also forgotten the well thought out, well written, hand written letter to your Congresperson and Respresentive option. That method is how the founders of this country conducted most of their correspondences.
Too busy for that? Then by the same token I will ask how does anyone find time to listen to so much dreck that floats over the 'airwaves'?
