Description: Job involves building a mod_perl/Linux based web Application for a large organization (our client). The application development is on Linux and uses our in-house web-development framework. Our Target platforms are IE on Windows, Mozilla on all other platforms.You'll be required to deliver the code end-to-end (from working HTML down to PL/SQL stored procs and the mod_perl glue in-between), although we dont expect you to do graphic design on HTML pages.But the screens must be functional upon delivery. Clear Specs will be provided. The Project deals with a large Hospital - making data protection and strict access control a mandatory requirement.
You must be a go-getter and someone who requires minimum of hand-holding.
Required skills: Following technical skills are a definite plus(in order): OO perl + mod_perl, Familiarity with Apache Life Cycle, Oracle PL/SQL and design, Template-Toolkit, C, Javascript
