SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] In Service Program
|
GNU/Linux has made a bit of a crossroads in recent months, and I beleive that NYLXS members need to step up and do presentations on several key technologies. These inservices do not require you to be an expert in these areas. They require you to take the subject as an assignment, in order to help other members to stay abreast.
As such, I'm calling on members to volunteer on the following topics for inservice presentations:
A: Grub B: CUPS C: Apache2 D: Open Office E: Scibus F: Postfix G: Perl 6 H: Mono
EVERYONE should take a project, learn it, and present what you learn to everyone else ... this is what is called inservice
I want to start running this series begining in August
Ruben
