|
For those of you running Debian, you may be interested in knowing that the new installer (for sarge) rocks!
Some of the things that jump out at me include:
Ability to configure LVM Formats partitions with either EXT2, EXT3, JFS, XFS Ability to configure mount options for individual partitions
>From what I hear, 2.6 can be installed as well. I haven't gotten that far yet though and will choose 2.4 any way.
The network installation floppies can be obtained here: http://people.debian.org/~joeyh/d-i/images/daily/floppy/
The home page is here: http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/

"Yes, Your Honor. Now, where we are so far, in at least my line of reasoning, is I want to walk the Court through enough of our complaint to help the Court understand that IBM clearly did contribute a lot of the Unix-related information into Linux. We just don't know what it is."
