Unfortunately, I also have been down the CDRW Media Path as well. Of all the media that I have used, the only brand that has not given me any trouble whatsoever on any PC CDROM Drive is TDK 48X CDR Media. Other speeds of TDK, Maxell, Memorex etc have all produced at best mixed results and since I burn at least 600 CDs per three month period, I have tested more than my fair share of CDR and CDRW media. Please keep in mind that all the distros I have distributed to NYLXS members and other interested parties have always been TDK or SONY media. I have never had anyone report that the media was not bootable or readable.

Yes I have bought a new pack. So the possiblity of the quality of the media may be in question as well.
