Description:
Startup software company in New York City is looking for mod_perl developer
on LAMP system. Must be able to understand existing code and build new
applications on currently system as well as start new projects from
scratch. Must have experience with Red Hat Linux administration, MySQL
database design and maintenance, mod_perl programming, OOP styled coding,
web interface design. This position will participate in analyzing design,
programming, debug and optimize web applications.
Required skills:
1. Knowledge and experience with installing and using CPAN modules;
2. Knowledge and experience with setting up SSH server and clients;
3. Knowledge and experience with E-commerce development and online payment;
4. Knowledge and experience with template system.
5. Knowledge and experience with CVS server and clients;
6. Knowledge and experience with graphic design for web sites;
7. Ability to work independently;
8. Strong communication skills;
Desired skills:
