Greetings All!
Last Nights General Meeting and Board Meeting at the Killarney Rose (127 Pearl Street, NYC 10005) was attended by the following:
Michael "Big Daddy" Richardson Spidey "Give Me Beer!" ? Steve "College Boy" Milo Adam "I ain't no MS Whore!" Kosmin Peter "Sailor man" Siegel Evan "Politically Incorrect and Damn Proud of it!" Inker
Notably Missing were Ruben "Psycho Killer" Safir Joanne Cripps Joe "The Referee" Grater Robert Paul Marino
Election Ballots were filled out and noted. Spidey will be informing NYLXS of the results and my deepest sympathies to the winners. All in All, it was a wonderful evening of free flowing Beer and Chips and the camaraderie was second to none. Additionally, My profound gratitude to the wee Irish lass serving up the much needed libations at the Killarney Rose for her due diligence in providing much needed sustenance and literally changing kegs when the pumps ran dry last evening. Unfortunately due to the initial confusion as to the Meeting Place (Thank you Ruben) of last night's meeting, Rob Marino had gone to the Brooklyn Marriott. Apologies Rob for the confusion.
Cross Discussions were but not limited to Software Freedom Day and NYLXS involvement, Sponsorship by Viacom for Free Advertisement (Thanks Adam! If possible, lets get together next week at my office with Mike Richardson so we can get you the paperwork needed), Novell's Evolution 2 and the GPL'ing of the MS Exchange Server connector, Greatness of Beer, and upcoming InService on Installing OpenBSD (Hands On).
Regards,
Evan
