And the successful market of this message, despite the proven failure
of the MS methodology is AGAIN, because of a failure of lisensing requirments.
In medicine, this same thing happened for near 200 years. It was called
Quackery and Snake Oil salesmen, until the medical field united politically
and acted as a single profession to stamp it out. In the process, they
recieved licensure, income, status, responsibility, leadership, and
gave birth to modern medicine.
Let's hope the IT field doesn't take 200 years to figure this out.
(or maybe it will take a disaster on the scale of the Great Chicago Fire
to get the public to demand licensure, standards, and fiduciary responsiblity).
