Are you throwing down the guantlet to me :) Unionization is probibly not appropriate for IT. Licensure is probibly the way. And the first step is to create a more powerful and enabled professional organization, IMO.
The FSCC was designed to start this process. It will take years. I'll be retired before this becomes a reality. But I believe it will happen. I think there is no relisitic choice for public security reasons alone.
