| SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] possible talk topics at the retreat?

Hi Ruben & rest of the nylxers,
I am not aware of the exact dates for the retreat, but i am waiting for
them and i am looking forward to attend it. but i was thinking that it
would be a good idea if we all pitch in 'probable' topics for our
discussion/talk there. we all have different needs/aspirations/ideas it
would be nice if we take this opportunity and let others know about it
for now i have 1 idea.
1. with all these short-term jobs on craigslist, i get a lot of
inspiration. ppl here in nylxs can do a lot of jobs that are posted in
there and asking for a little bit of perl, php, mysql etc.
i think we can document/list out all our skills in one place and when
some opportunity comes one person from nylxs would act as contact person
and then develop the action plan.
may be its 3am now and i forgot being realistic. correct me if i am
wrong or its totally trashy idea or doesnt rhyme with nylxs mission
statement. my plan is not necessarily earning monies out these gigs but
this would lead us into a lot of links and networks.
me thinks so. i would appreciate feedback also would like to know your
ideas for retreat discussion.

2. web hosting (which was discussed in the last meeting)??
