Tech Tip
If you're working with XML data but want to handle it with such classic old-school tools as sort, uniq, tac and grep, use Dan Egnor's xml2 to convert the XML to a line-oriented format for easy piping. Use 2xml to put it back into XML. Examples can be found on Dan's Web site: http://dan.egnor.name/xml2/examples.
