SUBJECT | Re: [hangout] Board Meeting?
|
Hi Ruben & All,
I was at the meeting last night with Peter, Mike and Robert. It was good. I don't have any notes or minutes, but I can tell this is what have been discussed..
1. Linux World Expo + getting a booth in .ORG pavillion 2. Publishing the Linux1 book out by LWE 3.Mirroring / making of nylxs.org 4. Lawyers + non-profit status.
Apart from that, I volunteered to come up with a 'prototype' of new look for our website. the current website inspires me to do much. There are couple of things on my mind..
1. prototype for our new site (possibly bfore LWE)
2. How about we have a 'DOERS BLOG'? Like the other day, I was reading Evolution blog at Ximian. May be we can have one in future?
I would need ppls feedback about this, i am not sure how well it helps us or may be i am being too ambitious.
3. What happened to the idea you mentioned few days back about Linux Desktop with David Sugar?
Last but not least, when are you coming out of your money minting spree? :)
