NYLXS is proud to host the 2003 GNOME Developers Summit in New York City with support from Novell, Brooklyn College, and NYLXS.
The opening session will be at the Student Union at Brooklyn College at 9AM November 22nd, and will continue at the NYLXS Education Center in Kings Games, Brooklyn New York.
Brooklyn College is at Campus Road and Bedford Avenue. Kings Games and the NYLXS Education Center at 1724 East 12th Street on Kings Highway.
Richard Stallman is giving the introductionary speech, along with GNOME Friedman of GNOME, NYLXS Secretary Ruben Safir, and David Sugar of Bayonne Project.
In addition, NYLXS and Gnome is holding a workshop for GNOME Developement for beginners on Sunday Morning November 23rd, and a tour of New York is being given in the works. Also, swag will be given out to participants.
Finally, NYLXS is having its annual benifit dinner with talks by Richard Stallman, and Awards for Evan Inker (NYLXS Free Software Chamber of Commerce), Paul Robert Marino (NYLXS Vice President, Chairman of the Education Sub-committee, and Free Software Specialist for the NYC Board of Education and Concord High School) and Alex Shvartsman (Patron of the Free Software Institute).
