Move Bank Account:
Mike and Ruben will open the new account at 10:00 AM on Tuesday
Morning. Peter Siegel will come later to be added as a signee.
Kings Games Rent:
Ruben is donating $200.00 a month for rent for general services at
Kings Games to NYLXS. This gets us meeting space and space for the library
and tables. We can sell Tech Magazines and Books.
We need to move the exess monitors and equiptment from Kings Games:
Steve Milo is calling the Department of Sanitation to determine the
means for moving the monitors.
Book Case to move the Library to Kings Games:
Joe Villari Donated the Bookcases from IKEA. They must be built by volunteers.
Talbes and Chairs to the Education Center and put the
computers on top:
Steve Milo will attempt to recruit Spidey and Serge Derrick to help move tables and Books
to Kings Games.
Advertizing in the Kings Games windows: Joe Villari will help create advertizing such as
a calender poster and banner for the window.
Our Phone is installed at Kings Games: Mike is donating a phone and answering machine. A
message needs to be recorded.
GNOME Conference: Details for IT still need to be worked out with
Library and SUBO.
Steve Milo and Robert Marino will contact IT and finish up the GNOME summit contacts. A question
as to how much of the conference needs to be moved out of College is still in question. We will
look into putting more of the conference into the Library which has better network access.

NYLXS can sell FS books, and Mags at the Education Center:
Steve Milo is to call The Linux Journal and other mags to see what we can need to open a
magazine rack.
Classes Need pushing according to dates given to Evan Inker:
Despite discussion - this is still a mess. Evan was to send Ruben a copy of the flyer.
Mike is to arrainge for printing and distribution. A discussion about class location
resolved nothing other than the admision that we have few better options outside of
the NYLXS Education Center. Funding of the flyers is an imediate need of the organization.
Installfest in Greenpoint at Joe Grastara's:
Joe will make details clear about efforts to spread NYLXS into Greenpoint Brooklyn.
Discuss further an NYLXS Van for transportation: The organization voted against
acquiring a Van. Other efforts are to be evaluated.
Gnome Website still needs works (REGISTRATION PLEASE):
Joe Grastara and Pasha finished it.
Web Mail interface to NYLXS Accounts is being implimented. Need Help for this.
Robert Marino and Ruben will make an effort to get the webmail interface running
at Tech Night on Saturday Night.
Teachers GNU/Linux One Class location and Schedule needs confirmation.
Location is the NYLXS Education Center. We determined to give teachers
a computer to keep for the program as a sweetener. Transportaiton is to be
worked out. We could use someone with a vehicle at this junction. Date is
scheduled for November 12th.
Donations for this Classes Computers needed: Rob is to make an announcement asking for
donations and to contact IBM for a donation.
Application for official NYS School needs to be filled out to accept State and
Federal Moneys:
Application is to be printed out and worked on at Evans office by Rob, Steven and
Evan at Evans convience in the next few weeks.
