Hi Ruben,
Again, we are working diligently on your behalf regarding your conference. As soon as I get word, I will contact you. Obviously, we are holding rooms for you. Per our meeting on Thursday... Please keep the following information in mind...
-Metropolitan Kosher Food # is 718-434-6853.
-If/When the C.I.S. department sponsors your event, the ROOM CHARGES would be per hour for the following rooms... Penthouse $40p/hr, Gold room $45 p/hr, Maroon rm. $20 p/hr and State Lounge, $37.50 p/hr and the Occidental lounge $20 per hour.(When your program agenda is set, I will be able to give you an exact total for the room charges)
-STAFF CHARGE (OVERTIME).... Again please keep in mind that we had a previously scheduled event on Sunday. You would need to pay for setting/ re-setting and cleaning for your event. It looks as if the total would be about $1900.00. $1410.00 for the Staff charges and 4-5 hundred for the re-setting/cleaning for your event. At this time, I believe that is a safe estimate. Please keep in mind that the 4-5 hundred may be less, depending on who/what staff is available during the time of your program.
We will be talking soon. In the meantime, have a great day.

Mark
There is some confussion with the network needs for the Library (which is now confirmed for Sunday) and SUBO. The easiest route would be for us to put in some switches in both locations and for you to apporve temporary wireless access for the many many laptops which might need to be used at both locations.
Since this is the Gnome Foundation and Free Software Foundation people involved, there will be enough expereinced IT muscle in the room to both put this up and talk this down securely and without disrupting your infrastructure to do this.
However, if your department is opposed to us putting in switches and wireless, then we'll need to get your help in this matter (please....)
Thanks for EVERYTHING. You guys have been the best.
