This is still terribly written. Read other press releases..
Why is it "GNOME Developers Summit" but then "Developers' Sessions"? If you are going to abuse apostrophes, at least do it consistently.
Here's my version.. still not perfect but at least it's grammatically correct and approaches press release-ese.

2003 GNOME Developers' Summit, November 22-24 NYLXS and The GNOME Foundation are proud to announce the 2003 GNOME Developers' Summit at Brooklyn College. The Summit will begin on Saturday November 22 at 9am, and will run through the weekend until Monday the 24th.
Our list of scheduled speakers includes prominent members of The GNOME Foundation, as well as Richard Stallman of the Free Software Foundation.
Developers' sessions will be held at the Student Union Penthouse (one of the secret jewels of New York City) and at the Whitehead Library.
An NYLXS benefit dinner will take place on Saturday from 6-10pm in the Brooklyn College Student Union's executive lounge.
