Troy,
I agree that flame wars are pointless and will not waste my time either starting them or participating. However, I will continue to call things as I see it and will continue to spread the word of FOSS to those that are caught in Microsoft's clutches. There is absolutley no reason that I can support which suggests that educational institutions should not be running on 100% F/OSS.
I can see that you have lost sight of the bigger issue here when I read your comments regarding Brian. For all I know, he may be the sweetest man on the planet and may have respectable motives but at the end of the day, his efforts reward Microsoft whose goals are CERTAINLY not inline with those of a school. From your comments, I have no choice but to see you as one of the persons who have been manipulated by Microsoft's decision to inject Brian onto the list and have no doubt that you'll take offense when I call you on this. For that, I am sorry. However, I will continue to monitor the list and help where I can. This help may even come from calling Brian on a thing or two where appropriate.
Your welcome,
Adam Kosmin WindowsRefund.net
