This sounds like a promising start... Please get back to me on a date and time wherein my supervisor (Joe Benedict) and ourselves can have a luncheon meeting with a few of the major folks listed here that are in (Brooklyn)
Thanks Mitzu

The people in Boston are not going to be coming until the event, which is why NYLXS is arrainging this.
Dave and I will be able to get there with Dr Tannenbaum, and maybe Mike Richardson, who is the president if he can get the time off.
The Conference is 3 days, 9-5 Expect around 200 People, maybe more for Richard Stallman's speach because ... well Richard is fameous..
People will mostly bring there laptops, since they all own them and they are developers, so figure perhaps 6 terminals at most being needed, but hubs and DHCPCD access to the internet.
NYLXS and the Gnome Foundation are spounsoring the even with some corperate support.
David Sugar is the actually Co-ordinator
And the sooner we can get the commitment, the better, because this is delaying the publicity and other arraingments which need to be made.
We need two rooms for lecture and about 2 hours of the Penthouse for an intruction service and beginning speaches.
