Steven, I think you missed the point. It is good that the RIAA is sueing people because it makes everyone afraid of them and the laws they are trying to enforce. They are no longer being given the luxary of ignoring the implications of Digital Rights Management and restrictive legistlation of fair use. Nothing inside the new articles matters. Nothing which is quoted matters. It's a one line news story for the public: "RIAA sues hundreds of people for doing something perfectly normal.".
BTW - calling the RIAA a domestic terrorist organization is inaccurate and makes the RIAA look good. There behavior and the legal tools they are implementing is bad enought without needless exagrations, especially one which folks are very touche about and can be easily bedunked.
