This is always the threat to IBM and is the reason IBM has their head up their ass.
If IBM doesn't take a major interest in developing a business ready FS desktop environment then their server market is going to fail. It is just a matter of time.
The desktop is the rate limiting step in all technology.
And it is not that the GNU/Linux desktop isn't ready. It is. What is missing is the sales people, and the application development sources.
