SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] PXE and tftp
|
At Technite this sunday, we were trying to do a remote boot from one of the machines at Kings Games. There is a nice webpage on how to do this and we got the DHCP part of the problem solved on one of the slackware boxes.
However, we got stuck with on the tftp server. I started it up in inetd.conf and it's listed in services running through TCP Wrappers. But I couldn't gain access to the files with need to be transfered. I'm thinking that I might need to make an entry in /etc/hosts.allow?
There is no obvious confiugration file of tftp.
Anyone have expereince with this?
