SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] June Board Meeting Report
|
I want to personally thank everyone for coming to our meeting on Tuesday Night. I was almost driven to tears over the large showing of support of NYLXS, and the smoothness of having a peaceful and productive meeting. I'll be forwarding the minutes in a few minutes, but a quick few words.
Rob is going to work on a double blind study for education of students working on real time end points for and then run a cross over. This is one of the key points of the thrust of our educational efforts to date.
Pasha Akbar is taking over the web site... GUYS this does not mean that you can just shove your workloads onto him. It does mean that Pasha is the go to guy about templates and setting up information on the website from here on out.
Outside of the NYLXS board meeting, we had a very productive FSCC meeting with commitments for investment of our business plan.
The board is starting the new orientation for members, which should be in full swing, hopefully in August, 2003.
Seth Johnson, one of the three banned individuals of NYLXS spied on our meeting. He didn't say anything at the meeting or create a distubance, so we made no fuss...but please remember in your dealings that we have permanent bans on Jay Sulzberger, Bret Wynkoop and Seth Johnson. Board memebers are particularly remined since the restrictions for them is higher.
We welcome Peter Seigel, Adam Kosmin, and Rob to the board, as per the minutes.
Again, thanks everyone.
Ruben
