SUBJECT | Subject: [hangout] Emperor Linux Laptops
|
Hey guys! I need a new laptop for school and I wanted something light. I did some research and I narrowed it down to these 2 choices:
Fujitsu P2120 (Piranah) http://www.emperorlinux.com/piranha.html Sony TR1A (Kiwi) http://www.emperorlinux.com/kiwi.html
Note: The Kiwi isn't listed in the main page because it is not fully supported yet
I like the Sony better, because of the battery life and nicer screen, but because it has the centrino, it doesnt work under Linux (no wireless support). The Fujitsu is a nice laptop (fully supported) and has 10 gigs more, but should I wait until they come out with centrino support?
Any advice would be very helpful! Thanks!
