I think that's an excellent idea, and perhaps an obligation if you are a shareholder.
This Hanks guy is obviously a raging incompetent with an axe to grind, and any company would be better off without him. I personally wouldn't trust him with a hamster and a Habitrail, but I feel that way about a regrettably large number of people in positions of authority.
There's a thread on Newsforge about the article, which includes other links to comments Hanks made in various database forums. It seems others have also voiced their displeasure to Continental's management.
