root should only be in the hands of the person that is responsible for
the health and maintenance of the server itself. Without knowing who is
currently tasked with this responsibility, I can't say who should know
that password, but I see the potential for this group needlessly turning a
security
issue into a political one.
So who is responsible to keep that server online?
