There is Going To be THE ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGY
CONFERENCE.
By THE TEACHERS OF NEW YORK CITY'S
ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOLS
This is an Opportunity for NYLXS's Silent listeners,
the Doer, and Free Software activist to come together
in an organize fashion and spread the news that FREE
Software can do anything M$ software products can do,
and in most cases do IT BETTER. We need 12 of more
knowledgeable/ Passionate Free Software people to go
in and Explain or show these M$ photoshop, word,
excel, powerpoint, user that GNU/Linux, GIMP, and Open
Office.org, and many more free software program can
substitute them.
THE PLAN
meet at 8:30 AM in front of West Side High School
pair up into groups and decide who goes to which
seminar.
arm each person with a knoppix CD (and we will explain
what to do with them)
